Why Dodo?

You may ask why Dodo is the name of this blog.  Why, out of all the animals in the world I could chse, would I chose a stupid bird that couldn’t even evolve enough not to become extinct?  Well, I’ll tell you, it’s an old nickname taken of my maiden name.  And I think they’re kind of cute.

I’m a thirty-something mom of two.  I knit.  I knit a lot.  I knit as often as my husband and daughters will let me.  Knitting is what helps me keep my sanity.
